On our way home from Idaho Falls, we stopped at Craters of the Moon. I have never in my whole time of living in Idaho visited this place. It was super hot, but we enjoyed it none the less.

They wanted to stop to look at the wildflowers. I was amazed that anything could grow out of lava. I love wildflowers and these didn't disappoint.

This is lava flow, but to a gal who's grandpa had cows - this looks like one big cow patty to me.

I can't find my map, but I believe there's a 7 mile loop you can drive and stop at 8 different locations to explore. We stopped at 6 of them.
